Engagements with the Sustainability Committee of the European Cigar Manufacturers Association
In 2023, ECLT made a presentation to the Sustainability Committee of the European Cigar Manufacturers Association (ECMA). The purpose of the presentation was to enhance awareness about the ECLT Foundation, its mission, and the value it brings among ECMA members, with the goal of generating interest and encouraging ECMA members to join the Foundation.
The questions from ECMA members mainly focused on categories of membership and cost of membership. In 2024, the ECLT Foundation will follow up individually with ECMA members to explore possibilities of membership or other forms of partnership that are possible under the new business model.
