Introducing New ECLT Foundation Treasurer

The ECLT Foundation is pleased to announce that Marcus McKay was elected as the new ECLT Foundation Treasurer by the ECLT Foundation Board. The election took place on 6 April 2016 during the 35rd ECLT Foundation Board Meeting in Geneva.

New ECLT Foundation Treasurer Marcus McKay

Marcus McKay, Head of Corporate Responsibility & Communications for Contraf-Nicotex-Tobacco GmbH, will serve as Treasurer the next two years. Marcus brings 12 years of experience and exposure from working within the many facets of the diverse tobacco production supply chain. His familiarity and knowledge of tobacco production origins and understanding of the supply chain contribute to and compliment the already existing wide range of expertise that the ECLT Foundation is proud to have within its ranks. Marcus has served as a member of the ECLT Foundation Board since 2012.

“As the ECLT Foundation develops, it continues to go from strength to strength. This is testament to the commitment and hard work of all involved in the endeavours of the foundation. I look forward to working closer with the foundation and grappling with the challenges and complexities that we face,” - Marcus said.

Marcus replaces Simon Green, Regional Director Switzerland of Alliance One International, who served as Treasurer from 2013 to 2016.  President Antonio Abrunhosa, Chief Executive Officer of the International Tobacco Growers’ Association (ITGA), and Vice President Kirsty Green-Mann, Head of Corporate Responsibility of Imperial Tobacco Group, continue their roles.
