ECLT Foundation joined forces with the ILO, and IUF to urge governments to end child labour in tobacco and agriculture. ECLT partner organisations working to address child labour around the world organised events to highlight the issue on World Day Against Child Labour 2007, on June 12.

Prior to the WDACL, ECLT released a press release, in which the plan of action of each country is listed.
